History of Texas Indians Tribes
TEXAS INDIAN TRIBES
Welcome to our Texas Indian Tribes website. The goal of our site is to have an inside look at the various tribes of Indians that have lived in Texas over the years. Located on the Mexican border, Texas is in a unique geographical location which many Indians tribes called home at one time or another.
One thing that separates many of these Texas Native American tribes from other parts of the United States is how they adapted their cultures to live in the unique climate and layout of Texas.
Many of these tribes had to come up with new ways of feeding, clothing and providing for their families in order to survive. Much of this is often not covered in history books and is only known by very few from Indian stories passed down through the years.
Our goal is to uncover much of the unknown and dig deeper into these tribes and their daily lives.
We feel that our site is not only the most in-depth look into the daily lives of these Native Americans, but also a look into how their history has an overall effect on modern America, Mexico and the rest of the world.
